Yamaha Music Europe GmbH

The DBR15 achieves best-in-class SPL of up to132dB and delivers the lowest frequency in its lineup. The DBR15 delivers outstanding performance for the main front-of-house sound for the live performance or DJ events that require highly prominent low and more power.

Speaker type

An audio output channel is an electric circuit which acts as a path for a signal produced by a device. A device may have several audio output channels.

Audio output channels

Speaker placement

The quantity of drivers, which are individual transducers that converts electrical energy to sound waves.

Number of drivers

Loudspeaker designed to reproduce high frequencies.

Tweeter

The diameter of the high-frequency driver, measured in inches.

Tweeter diameter (imperial)

Loudspeaker designed to reproduce low frequencies.

Woofer

The diameter of the low-frequency driver, measured in inches.

Woofer diameter (imperial)

Loudspeakers

RMS (Root mean square) is a measure of the continuous power required by a device, in particular audio amplifiers and loudspeakers.

RMS rated power

The maximum power level the unit can handle for a very short duration without failure, measured in Watts.

Peak Music Power Output (PMPO)

The lowest and the hightest frequencies that can be inputted/produced.

Frequency range

The specific frequency point at which the audio signal is split between different drivers, measured in Hertz.

Crossover frequency

Audio

What the product should be used for, and how it should be used (e.g. ambient temperature).

Recommended usage

The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white.

Product colour

What the casing of the product is made of.

Housing material

Type of loudspeaker enclosure that uses the sound from the rear side of the diaphragm to increase the efficiency of the system at low frequencies as compared to a typical closed box loudspeaker or an infinite baffle mounting.

Bass reflex

Performance

Electronic device for increasing the amplitude of electrical signals, used chiefly in sound reproduction.

Amplifier

The technology that enables connectivity of the device, e.g. wired or wireless.

Connectivity technology

The number of RCA-type analog audio input ports available on the device.

Audio RCA inputs

Indicates whether the device can be powered directly via an alternating current (AC) power source.

AC (power) in

Ports & interfaces

Power source type

The voltage of the AC electricity that is inputted into the product.

AC input voltage

The range of alternating current frequencies the device can accept from the power source, measured in hertz (e.g., 45 - 65).

AC input frequency

Amount of power consumed by this model, often expressed in watts (W). Typical values that manufacturers give are power consumption when off, standby/suspended mode, typical use, maximum usage.

Power consumption (typical)

The amount of electricity that is consumed when the product is on standby.

Power consumption (standby)

Power

The measurement or extent of something from side to side.

Width

The distance from the front to the back of something.

Depth

The measurement of the product from head to foot or from base to top.

Height

Weight of the product without packaging (net weight). If possible, the net weight is given including standard accessories and supplies. Please note that sometimes the manufacturer leaves out the weight of accessories and/or supplies.

Weight

Weight & dimensions

Device that attempts to reverse the distortion incurred by a signal transmitted through a channel.
