Distance Learning Tracking Camera
When distance learning and hybrid classrooms are the new normal, the AVer DL30 is a must-have solution for online education. With the DL30 connected to a laptop, you can present freely onstage while livestreaming so students can learn no matter where they are. Teachers don’t need to be camera shy anymore—they can just be themselves and teach how they want thanks to the DL30 tracking camera!

1/2.8" CMOS, 2 MP, 1080p, 3.9-46.8mm, USB, RJ-45, PoE+, 158.8x200x162.2 mm

The number (in millions) of light-sensitive picture elements known as pixels actually used by the camera's image sensor (CCD) to record light, and which are reflected to the final number of recorded pixels stored on the memory card.

Megapixel (approx.)

This is the maximum resolution of video images. Resolution is a measure of the degree of detail visible.

Maximum video resolution

This is the maximum frame rate, also known as frame frequency and frames per second (FPS). It is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames. The term applies equally well to film and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS) and is also expressed in progressive scan monitors as hertz (Hz).

Maximum frame rate

The maximum resolution supported by the integrated camera, such as Full HD or 4K Ultra HD.

Camera HD type

The video modes that can be displayed by the device.

Supported video modes

The type of video formats that can be used by this device.

Video formats supported

The amount that the camera lens can zoom.

Zoom capability

Indicates the optical zoom capacity, which is the number of times that the picture can be enlarged with the optics of the camera.

Optical zoom

Indicates the digital zoom capacity, the number of times that the picture is enlarged thanks to digital technology.

Digital zoom

Measure of how strongly the system converges or diverges light. For an optical system in air, it is the distance over which initially collimated rays are brought to a focus. A system with a shorter focal length has greater optical power than one with a long focal length; that is, it bends the rays more strongly, bringing them to a focus in a shorter distance. For an optical system in air, the effective focal length (f and f′) gives the distance from the front and rear principal planes (H and H′) to the corresponding focal points (F and F′).

Focal length range

Determines the length of time the shutter lets light pass through the lens to the CCD. Shutter speed and aperture together determine exposure.

Camera shutter speed

Maximum horizontal angle at which a display can be viewed with acceptable visual performance.

Viewing angle, horizontal

Maximum vertical angle at which a display can be viewed with acceptable visual performance.

Viewing angle, vertical

Indicates whether the device features a physical shutter or cover to block the camera lens for enhanced privacy.

Privacy camera

This is the ratio of signal intensity to noise intensity.

Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)

Technique in photography and image processing, which involves a global adjustment of the intensities of the colors (typically red, green, and blue primary colors). An important goal of this adjustment is to render specific colors – particularly neutral colors including white – correctly.

White balance

Indicates whether the device features technology to reduce unwanted background noise.

Noise reduction

The maximum extent of the area visible to the lens, measured as an angle from one corner of the image to the opposite corner in degrees.

Diagonal field of view

Indicates whether the device supports Pan-Tilt-Zoom functionality to remotely adjust the angle and focal length.

PTZ control

Also known as light sensitivity, this is the smallest amount of light needed for the camera to produce an image of useable quality.

Minimum illumination

Amount of power consumed by this model, often expressed in watts (W). Typical values that manufacturers give are power consumption when off, standby/suspended mode, typical use, maximum usage.

Power consumption (typical)

Defines the range of operating voltages available

Operating voltage

The amount of electrical current consumed by the device during normal operation, typically measured in amperes (A) or milliamperes (mA).

Operating current

Performance

Interface ports to connect pieces of equipment. USB (Universal Serial Bus) has become the most popular wired interface to connect peripherals. USB 2.0 supports speeds up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 1: 12 Mbit/s). The interface FireWire is also known as the IEEE 1394 standard. Enhanced IDE (EIDE)is sometimes referred to as Fast ATA, Fast IDE or ATA-2.

Interface

The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white.

Product colour

A sensor is a convertor than measures a physical quality (light, temperature etc.) and displays this electronically on a device.

Sensor type

Optical sensors are electronic detectors that convert light, or a change in light, into an electronic signal. They are used in many industrial and consumer applications e.g. lamps that turn on automatically in response to darkness. Optical sensors come in many sizes.

Optical sensor size

The product has an internal flash. A flash produces a brief very bright light, used for taking photographs in poor light.

Built-in flash

The specific status lights available on the unit to provide visual feedback on its current state or connectivity (e.g., AC input, ACT, or Access).

LED indicators

The minimum and maximum angles at which the unit can be tilted, typically expressed in degrees.

Tilt angle range

The maximum angle to which the unit can be rotated horizontally from its center position, typically expressed in degrees.

Pan range

The maximum speed at which the device can rotate horizontally, typically measured in degrees per second.

Pan speed

The maximum velocity at which the device can move vertically, measured in degrees per second (e.g., 15 deg/s).

Tilt speed

Design

Windows vesions wich can be used with the device.

Windows operating systems supported

Mac operating systems e.g. OS X can be used with the device.
