Daker DK UPS Plus is a single phase uninterruptible power supply with high frequency PWM technology, Double Conversion OnLine.<br><br>It delivers a rated power of 1000-2000-3000-5000-6000-10000VA, equipped with valve-regulated, hermetically-sealed accumulator batteries, contained in a specific compartment inside the UPS or in one or more external cabinets.<br><br>With the reversible screen, the Daker DK Plus UPS can be used in both tower and 19" rack configuration.

19" Rack Type On-Line double conversion UPS designed for IT equipments, servers and voice/data networks. Legrand Daker DK+ has a rack/tower convertible chassis and screen.

The two main UPS topologies are Double-Conversion True Online and Standby / Eco. Many quality-based considerations are involved when choosing the the optimal UPS for the job, like how they are coping with voltage disturbances.

UPS topology

The maximum power that the device can produce.

Output power capacity

Output power

The shape and characteristics of the electrical signal produced or measured by the device (e.g. Pure sine or Biphasic truncated exponential).

Waveform

The minumum voltage needed by the device during operation.

Input operation voltage (min)

The maximum input voltage supported by the device.

Input operation voltage (max)

The frequency (Hz) which is required to power the product.

Input frequency

The minumum voltage produced by the device during operation.

Output operation voltage (min)

The maximum output voltage produced by the device.

Output operation voltage (max)

The frequency of the electrical current delivered by the device, measured in hertz (e.g. 47/53 Hz).

Output frequency

The maximum percentage by which the output voltage may deviate from the nominal value, measured in %.

Output voltage regulation

A surge protector is an appliance designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes. A surge protector attempts to limit the voltage supplied to an electric device by either blocking or by shorting to ground any unwanted voltages above a safe threshold. The surge energy rating is a measure of how much energy a surge protector can theoretically absorb in a single event, without failure.

Surge energy rating

The number of alternating current (AC) power phases required for the input power supply (e.g. 1 or 3).

Number of input phases

The number of alternating current phases provided by the device to the connected load (e.g. 1 or 3).

Number of output phases

The percentage of input energy that is converted into useful work or output, rather than being lost as heat or waste (e.g. 92%).

Efficiency

The energy efficiency of the device when operating in its power-saving ECO mode, measured in %.

Efficiency (ECO mode)

The ratio of the real power drawn from the source to the apparent power supplied, indicating the efficiency of power delivery.

Input power factor

The ratio of the real power delivered to the load to the apparent power supplied by the device.

Output power factor

The ratio of the peak current to the average current of the load, expressed as a proportion (e.g., 3:1).

Crest factor

Indicates whether the unit features a remote connector to immediately shut down power in the event of an emergency.

Emergency Power Off (EPO)

The percentage of harmonic distortion present in the output voltage waveform compared to a pure sine wave.

Output voltage Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)

The degree of harmonic distortion present in the input current, expressed as a percentage (%).

Input current Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)

The amplitude level of the undesired background noise, usually measured in decibels (db).

Noise level

The communication standards used for the remote administration and monitoring of the device (e.g. LoRaWAN).

Management protocols

Indicates whether the device provides a dry contact output that is electrically isolated from the internal power circuitry.

Potential-free output

Indicates whether the device automatically powers down after a period of inactivity to save energy.

Auto shut-off

Power source type

Features

AC outlet types

A power plug is a 2 or 3 pinned device that is placed into an electrical socket in order to make an electrical connection.

Power plug

The number of sockets in the device where AC electrical power can be connected.

AC outlets quantity

The device features a socket into which a USB cable can be plugged.

USB port

Indicates whether the device features a serial port for communication and management purposes.

Serial interface

The physical connector standard used for the serial communication port (e.g. DB9 or RJ-45).

Serial interface type

Ports & interfaces

The amount of electric charge a battery can deliver at the rated voltage. The more electrode material contained in the cell the greater its capacity. A small cell has less capacity than a larger cell with the same chemistry, although they develop the same open-circuit voltage. Capacity is measured in units such as amp-hour (A·h).

Battery capacity

Battery voltage

The number of batteries that can be used with the product.

Number of batteries supported

Approximate time required to recharge the battery from completely empty to completely full

Battery recharge time

Battery

Form factor

Rack capacity

The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white.

Product colour

Display type

The specific status lights available on the unit to provide visual feedback on its current state or connectivity (e.g., AC input, ACT, or Access).

LED indicators

The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes".

International Protection (IP) code

Design

The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely operated.

Operating temperature (T-T)

The range of relative humidity, expressed as a percentage, within which the device can function correctly without damage or performance loss.

Operating relative humidity (H-H)

Operational conditions

Specifies the official standards, safety approvals, or regulatory certifications the product has received.
