The term applies equally well to film and video cameras, computer graphics, and motion capture systems. Frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS) and is also expressed in progressive scan monitors as hertz (Hz).

Maximum frame rate

The maximum resolution supported by the integrated camera, such as Full HD or 4K Ultra HD.

Camera HD type

Indicates whether the device supports biometric authentication via facial scanning for secure access.

Face recognition

The pixel dimensions of the image or video frame recorded at a specific frame rate (e.g. 1024x768@30fps).

Resolution at capture speed

Indicates whether the device has a set focal length that cannot be adjusted to focus on objects at different distances.

Fixed focus

Maximum horizontal angle at which a display can be viewed with acceptable visual performance.

Viewing angle, horizontal

Indicates whether the device features a physical shutter or cover to block the camera lens for enhanced privacy.
